BoobaJones #6........No Spirit, No heart,

No Guts and No Pride that's how we showed up tonight. The last time we played team green we held the ball and fell 31-29 on a last second shot. Tonight we came out in a man defense, the defense wasn't the problem the transition defense and rebounding was. We would come down take a bad shot they'd have numbers on us three on two or two on one every time miss, get the rebound and put it back in -we got pushed around out hustled and completely dominated in the first half.  We switched into a zone and everyone thinks all our problems are solved the problem with zones is accountability - me personally i don't play well in a zone i tend to lose the man nearest me to block out or finding myself late rotating - as far the rest of the team either there lazy or are just like me . We were stuck ten and the half seemed like it was 30. We opened up the second half in a zone we contained them on a couple of possessions so everyone was patting each other on the back all excited until freddy mann hit two consecutive threes. we wasted a time out to switch back to a man-(my fault on the T.O) for the next 10 minutes or so we finally played with some pride we rebounded we got back we stopped them in transition and cut into the lead and finally tied the game. Freddy Mann hit a three from the corner with 30 something seconds left to put them up three mike Mann forced a three and missed we fouled they missed here is a key play that happened since were such a good rebounding team for some reason we only had three guys on the line instead of four- guess who came up with the rebound? The shooter did,he passed out to freddy mann and for some odd reason he heaved another three and missed - we called time mike was fouled with one second left he made the first missed the second on purpose we lost 53-51.......... some personal side notes to the game----- we fouled the three pointer shooter on the shot twice, once getting a Technical also - We probably shot 30% as a team from the floor, a lot of bad shots .... we were out rebounded by at least 15................I am not going to signal anyone out by names but our defense was lousy for most of the game........
