Insisting that I will be the 5TH as a replacement for his team, I agreed fill in, Until i got their and found out i was the 6TH. Not to ruin team morale, I watched and sat in my anger and shame, lamenting the loss of my time, The Team lost also......Every time I message TRG( Three rivers girl), I try to throw in  " A lil something". But she's not Biting, and it's just not happening, Though Texting can become Especially Ambiguous, things are NOT looking too good..........

Saturday morning

 
             Caviar, Wine and Cheese Brunch at the Mooch's led to another set up. MM ( Mrs Mooch) maneuvered me a set up with a  Halaby/ Shamie Young lady. An Almost Two Touchdown Spread, Makes it a pretty long shot to work out, and with my status up in the Air with TRG( Three rivers girl) Seems logical to call, the fact that She's really cute doesn't hurt either.... Not having watched one Hockey Game this year, My brother invited to game four of the Conference finals vs Montreal. Several friends Were bashing me and Telling me to either sell or give the ticket to a real fan. Had i purchased the Tickets, i would have done so, but i was invited, what am i supposed to say NO.?...... A little Early Jerusalem Day fun fact. Corporate Dating?,

     Unclear of any statuses, me and  TRG ( three rivers girl), have been having a hell of a good time when we get together. Their is attraction, chemistry, good conversation, and banter. The problem is when we don't get together, Their just seems to be a minimal Text Exchange, Until the next time we get together. The religion gap is pretty substantial, but will make efforts to navigate around it. After a really fun Saturday night, She Invited me up, So as long as "I behaved"...... Somewhat, and behaved somewhat i did. Heading home late, It dawned on me that I may have not put the toilet seat down, or maybe I never picked it up and peed on the seat, I send a preemptive text apologizing for possibly not putting the seat down, She Thanked me for noticing and mentioned that I didn't but laughed it off.  Between work and the Friends her Schedule is always filled, but will Shoot for a time Slot Somewhere's in between.  Church on Sunday maybe not be  Sunday but Church..........

The Third

 Time was not the Charm, but not Strike Three either. The Great EEE on his Third set up got it right. As Described ,Pretty, Articulate, Educated. The Ball was in my court to keep her intersted. Attentive not to speak quickly and enuncate properly. I was fillbuserting at times, and was forced to using the Bread rolls at the table to demonstrate How Israelis cut lines, Maybe the alternative of  Akward Silence, would have been better. The Demostration saved me some time to think of more content. She didn't eat much, but she was clearly not intersted either. The only good news for me is that I prorbably wont make it her dating horror stories. We shared similar heritages and she also got her  punctual skills from her Ashkenaz Mom. What have I learned ? That Fish is the Plural of Fish No COS..........

The forfeit

  rule at the SCC , states  that after Thirty minutes from tip off , if a team didn't have four players then a forfeit would be implemented. After a great phone conversation with a girl will call TRG( Three rivers girl) We set to meet up Sat Night  9:45. After Several unanswered texts, i was certain i'd been had. DM let me know Centa Rules apply, and at the last second She replied "So Sorry, Will be there 10:15" .  Deeply perturbed, I was certain the night was going to bomb. Apologetic and genuine, all was forgotten two minutes later. Our conversation continued, and  beyond the vast religion disparity, we were getting along great. Time Passed, Neither of us noticed, and when the bar got really loud, We changed venues, And pretty much closed up the Place. Dropping her off, We Shared a moment, And Church on Sunday Seems to be a slam dunk..... that is until the rim was raised, With the "Super Busy During the Week card" ( which is really true) ...... the Question was then raised that if  you really want to see someone,  can You always find the time?.....Momentum shift??

What the F%#k.

 what the f%#k  is the best six words i could find to describe tonight's Get together in Hoboken . The Young lady Was dressed for the occasion and smelled great. Perhaps Less fitter than her photos ( nothing wrong with that ), she was still, well still.... Her Raspy Smokers Voice, really went well with her Truck drivers vocabulary, and it became contagious as i started dropping F bombs like haradiem knock out babies. In my Opinion the spark died with " ohh wait you're jewish"  - " I then will assume you're not haha" - She apparently did not read my blurb, Which i didn't mind cause she just liked  my photos. But it clearly states that in my 430 letter write up. After seeing that Being Disingenuously complimentary was getting  me no where, and  of course she was Extraordinarily  "crazy busy", it was time to jump ship, though i think she Jumped about an earlier........

The Last Two

       Times the great EEE set me up with Someone,  I cut my Thumb on a cheap Chinese Umbrella, that left  to my bleeding profusely, and of course the Ultra Orthodox Russian-American, who Was Russian, but nothing beyond. We sat for 48 Minutes talking g0d and religion. Appropriately enough it was 2 days before Tisha Be Av, So we got an early Start.  Will the third time be a charm - " Look up SoSo tell me what you think, I can make it happen " - Fast Forward Three weeks - " make sure you call" . Must have been an intense Three Weeks of convincing. I forgot how torturous the initial call is, it smoothed over the course of the " American Pie" length( 8:12 ) of the conversation and We are on for Sunday Night, She sounded great...... Every time that a girl asks me where I'm from - " Jerusalem and I have all my papers" - Asking the same of a young lady her reply " Khazigistan and no I don't know Borat".... However  I don't date Israelites, multiple bad Experiences... too many cultural differences, good luck out there , u really cute".  A friend of mine agreed......That is about Israelites

In Honor of

of my mother for  Mother's day, once again i made a donation to the local synagogue, a repeat joke her reply a nice f- off...... Same  yearly joke again today we honor all the mothers tomorrow all the motherF%$ers..........In spontaneous fashion a 44 year old tinder woman suggested if I'm around to meet her and her friend at an upper west side bar. She Jewish petite, with some extra junk in the trunk ( nothing wrong with that ) the friend  43 Tall Blonde Irish Catholic with some junk in the trunk (again nothing wrong with that ) . Conversation wise we hit it off and when they asked if I'm here to hook up, I told them I am a bad Hooker upper, but not opposed to it, and really good at it, References are available. They kept referring to me as a "Nice, good Boy" and when it was confirmed that their was no Hooking up or Love connection, In true form wished each other luck and back to the Busy Tinder drawing board.............

40-42-42

 Numbers I normally  like to hear in the context of hmm - but those have been the ages of my last three Get togethers or dates .The last being last night. Sitting on a park bench, in union Square and over forty minutes early, My promise to her that it'll be fun wasn't looking promising, I was in a Nebbishy mood, and not in the mood. Of course what's the best thing that can happen though? From start to finish we did NOT connect, Either I am really low talker or she can't hear very well, Her most frequent word used was HUH.  We had some really unhealthy food and  the Bland conversation continued . She pointed out that I was a little negative an insisted I don't say "I am NOT...", But rather "I Am But.....", a little constructive criticism never hurts.  Appreciative, that she wasn't douchy and even  asked to help with the check. We parted ways with  The Usual "All the best", no invitation for a night cap, and certainly no church on Sunday..........124 years of Experience and nothing to show for it..............

    in order to be a realist, you must believe in miracles" happy 66th to 50% of the Israeli population to the other 50% that mourn , don't observe or are indifferent I guess F- U.......A great story of how the  Magen David Blue and white Became the official flag of the State. It was the Symbol of the Jews In the Diaspora and in the Yishuv, but The Founders wanted an Official Flag and reached out to the public to submit ideas. Herzl dream was to have Seven Stars representing the Seven hour work day, And for the first Five months Their was no Flag representing the Fledgling Jewish state at any diplomatic missions and events. Until it was decided to Just keep the Same flag and that's the story........

For 36 Minutes,

  I was pondering what's was worse waiting for either  Airport Security to throw me out and make me circle  around the Terminal or for PSBG to show. "K great" was my answer to every text she said why she's going to be late , and when she finally showed she was  Apologetic, disingenuously flattering, open  and very hungry. That Hungry part shocked me most since she's super skinny and fit. She shared a lot about herself and was a lot more cordial than anticipated. The Limited Menu at the Lounge we were at, propelled us to switch to venues, which saddened me a little cause Sylvia Our waitress was so so so and remembered me. We Switched to Pizza, where our open and cordial conversation continued, It left me wondering " why she never got married"?, But that's not for me to figure out. After Several cancellations and delays, it went a lot better ( for me ) than expected. I escorted her into a cab and she was "overtly nice" in her text as she got home, I responded in kind. However No Church on Sunday........Deleting Tinder I may have one or two more dates or get together s or whatever the hell they call them. I'm Gonna listen to Kenny Rogers this time and "Know when to fold them, Know when to walk away".........

The Yiddish

           Proverb States ' If you want you're dreams to come true, don't Sleep".......  A Date gone bad - Texting with with  PGG( Phonegate girl) We Set up for Saturday night. In an uncharacteristic fashion, and after not texting since Wednesday I completely  forgot. My Friend who made the arrangement ask's me how its going with her. " Holy Crap " I Send her a Statement of regret that included an apology that was just shy of calling myself a douche-bag. Harshly 12 hours later the response was " it obviously wasn't important enough for you"-Her statement was fair, but not necessarily true, I had nothing beyond that to say. It went beyond a mistake, and understand, But when her phone went AWOL on me i made it into a joke and  she could have taken it the same way.............." What if you knew her and found her dead on the ground" - 44 years to Kent State ..........confirmed with   PSBG, ( pretty svelte brunette girl) for tonight 7:00 pm Columbus circle, not taking the bait on her multitasking and how busy she is text - I learned to just answer "K Great"....... I Missed Shul this Saturday to have a Traditional Moroccan Style Breakfast at the Mooch's, I ate Falafel,  Tehina, and anything else that wasn't nailed down, trying to make up for all the times i drove Mooch to basketball. They couldn't have been more gracious...........

Three for Three But,

            PSBG( Pretty Svelte Brunette Girl) Due to in climate weather and her being under the weather has rescheduled for Sunday. She has been Sharing her situations with me and it's unclear to me as why? But You never ask questions when G0d's on you're side.........As Expected HJG( Hungarian Jobbak Girl) also was under the weather, She came down with a cold and sore Throat, Maybe she got, never mind. We're on for "another time". This makes Three Cancellations in a week, Earlier in the week  TG1( Tinder girl 1) with the great Mammerisims, was working and was afraid She wouldn't  be good company, Were also  on the get together " Another time" Plan.  Not sure if I should take this Personally. The But of course was the Tinder Miracle, The Girl i was allegedly supposed to be set up with last summer via some kakamamie plan, and I got together. It was thoroughly impressive that she was Their ahead of time, of course not before me though. I am Punctual Hall of famer. Every thing flowed really well, and we didn't need to talk Weather once. She may have found me odd That I kept looking over to the next table at the guy that looked like Turkish puppet i mean president Abdullah Gul. We ate a little, no drinking and  Ironically after while sitting at a Union Square park bench after, It began raining, of which we had to succumb to the " no talking about weather policy". Despite all that Church on Sunday is very very likely..........
