It's been 20 years since The Airlift of Ethiopian Jews to Israel. In a span of 36 hours, with not stop flights over 14,000 people were airlifted to safety. Including one flight that set a world record carrying 1,122 people with 2 babies being born on the flight. Israel since it's founding has been instrumental in airlifting Hundreds of Thousands of Jews in such amazing Operations as " Magic Carpet" (Yemen) and "Ezra and Nehemiah"( Iraq) in the early 50s ....
