  be planning a hell of a final four in Heaven. Jerry Tarkanian the Legendary coach at UNLV, has passed away at the age of  84. Tark famously known for Chewing on a towel, Brought Winning Basketball to the desert, and in some ways revolutionized the college game, in great part to the vaunted  "Amoeba Defense". Tark was a Rebel in ever sense of the word, and went through   Harrowing Hell from the NCAA over minor violations stemming primarily from " The Best that never was" Lloyd Swee pea Daniels. But in Churchill fashion " When going through Hell,  you keep going" Tark persevered and went on to win the Title in 1990  I had the good fortune of meeting the Shark in 1990 at the Preseason NIT. Sneaking down with a friend to watch  St Johns defeat Depaul at the Buzzer in the first game, we sat next to the legend, annoying him with all kinds of Trivial questions about the Rebels, prompting him to tell us in the nicest way to get lost.               When Benjamin Netnayahou Will take the Podium to Address a Joint Session of Congress next month, Not only will he be speaking for an Entire Jewish people, But for all People of the free world. Many have Accused Netanyahou of being Insolent and ungrateful to the American Administration, and have been admonishing him as using this opportunity to boost his Standing in the upcoming elections. Let's Rewind to 1981, to a very similar situation, albeit with very different circumstances, but the Very Same Goal; the annihilation of the Jewish State..... Benjamin Netanyahou, very much like his party founder Menachem Begin is feeling the Onerous weight of an an entire people on his shoulders, and admirably would stop at nothing to defend his people.
                          The similarities : In both cases all Options have been Exhausted, Their have been Coincidental fires, Computer viruses, and Disappearance of Nuclear scientists .None the less in both present day Iran and   Iraq in 1981 went full steam ahead in the ultimate Quest; the annihilation of the Jewish state. Both have been accused by the Opposition of Fear mongering and cheap ploys to win an election, and both have been harshly attacked by their security agencies of overplaying the threat. In   Begin's case it was to  a point where the Mossad head Yitzahk Hofi  refused to sit in on any Meetings  regarding a military solution.
                          The Circumstances : Unlike Begin, Netnayhaou despite  having huge popularity with the Congress is facing a very hostile US president, Whom is looking to collectively punish Israel over his disdain for Netnayahou, and Likkud Policy's. Begin, also faced  Reagan Opposition to any military option ,  but Still  kept the military solution on the table, but with the upcoming election. was pressed for time, as the Labor opposition head Shimon Peres  had a Neville Chambielrian  like agreement with French President Valery Giscard to not allow the reactor to go  hot. Netanyahou does Not have any Military Options.  The Middle East in 1981 was very different with Iran and Iraq embroiled in War, that saw them both sacrifice over a million men. Despite the immense unpopularity of the speech, and the hurls of playing cheap politics for the sake of an election victory. Despite incurring the wrath of President Obama, and the rest of the indifferent world. Despite the threats to isolate the Jewish State.  Netanyahou has a moral duty and obligation to speak out, on perhaps the worlds most important stage and WARN of the dangers and dire consequences should Iran get the Bomb, and Proudly Shout out to the world  Never Again.........

Sad to Hear

              about the passing of Legendary NC Coach and Humanitarian  Dean Smith. Fortunate enough to meet the Coach at ABCD basketball camp in Teanack NJ in 1996, He couldn't have been more friendly and cordial, He asked Some general questions,Introduced me to coach Guthridge  posed for some disposable camera photos, and signed my Dollar ala Lubabavitcher Rebbe Style. Unfortunately  as a Young Kid Trying to hook up, I foolishly mailed the dollar to a young co-ed, whom I have not heard from back ever since. The legend did Send me back the photo with the caption "Best Wishes, Gideon  Dean Smith ".  Coach Smith was known for Never underestimating opponents, Even when Favored by 30 or 40 points, always cautioning the media how dangerous a Unc Asheville or Winston Salem  team can be.

But for the Names of the people to be close enough to Where the teller doesn't even blink, That's more like hitting a   Full court shot, blindfolded, while reciting the Psalms. My Overzealous bank cleared the check in less than 16 hours, with an " impossible chance  to do a stop payment", or request the funds back, make for a real sticky situation.     (02.03) was the day the music died........ Three for three in cancelled dates so far this week. perhaps g0d is sending us bad weather as a sign, for  me not to go out with girls whom are not members of the tribe. No way  G0d would be ..... blocking me though, I'm sure he understands. One more potential date set for Thursday shes a MOT ( member of the tribe) but isn't their always a but.....Ilan Ramon and the Columbia tragedy 02.01, there was some great question how one observed holidays in space with time changing so quickly ........"
